Dinner, detailed

I get home late on Mondays so spouse is in charge of the evening sustenance. I look forward to getting home and enjoying some of his creativity. It's usually a casserole of some kind, he likes to throw a bunch of things together and put it in the oven, and it's often tasty. What you see above is what he served last night. He pointed out that all the food groups were covered. Bread, meat, dairy, and veggie. I had to laugh. (It's a piece of cheese on the broccoli.)

I could only gag down one corndog, so spouse ended up consuming three.

Oh Corndogs! For a minute I thought those were something else. I wondered what they were doing on a plate. Next time tell Spouse to get some Velveeta Cheese and melt it on the cooked Broccoli. Oh and leave the Dildos in the bedroom. LOL. Ed

  4. I've never had a corndog.

This picture makes me feel as though I probably have not been missing out.

  5. Heheheh, okay, so what it lacked in nutrition and good taste, was more than made up for by Spouse's sweet "food groups" statement, right?

Nonetheless, I don't think I would have eaten it either.

    HUGS...

I thught they were carrots at first glance. I've never had a corn dog. Is that mustard on the side?

I haven't had a corndog in about 18 years! I was actually just thinking about them the other day while I was shopping in the freezer section. I was slightly tempted to buy some but as this post proves, I wasn't missing much by skipping the purchase!

  11. I love corndogs. VUBOQ: They make veggie corndogs now.

The cheese could have used a little melting...maybe?

  13. I used to love corn dogs, but I haven't had a hotdog in any form in a long while.

Spouse probably didn't want to go shopping in the bad weather. I don't blame him.

  14. Was spouse having a protest day? I have those from time to time, y'know, chicken nuggets and tuna sandwiches night, oh and don't forget the sore tummy to go with it. Sometimes providing food feels like an endless and thankless chore, until you do a few of those meals and then everyone raves when you actually make something yummy. Works every time. haha. Devo

  23. As visually appealing as munching on a corndog is, I still find them disgusting.
