Snippets

* Grasping a greasy subway pole is an instant recipe for heeby-jeebies.

* I require 60 minutes in the morning before I am pleasant to speak with.

* Speaking of morning, sometimes just the smell of the coffee compels a movement.

* My memory these days is like an old dog's milky eyes.

* The thing that chapped my hide last year was that as soon as my garden vegetables were ripe, the market was selling them for pennies.

* This is not worksafe. Tubgirl.

* I don't think there is a cheese I don't like. Said another way, I like all cheese.

* I have never used face cream or moisturizer of any kind. I will put on sunscreen, but reluctantly.

* Serge, on the other hand, does. He brought home a new facial product lately, and I took a video snippet of him.

* Note the final look of death he gives me.

  1. Hi my name is TLR and I'm addicted to cheese....

    Great site!

  2. I wish cheese was lower in fat. I suppose "moderation" is key -- every stupid thing in "moderation."

Also, I won't put anything on my face either. Never have, never will (except sunscreen, reluctantly).

  3. I am in the throws of perimenopause so I have a tube of clearasil in one hand and a tube of oil of old lady in the other. It sucks.

You know, I think I AM like Serge and you really ARE like Darin!

I can't even WALK down the stairs until I smell the coffee, and I need at least an hour. Thank God for coffeepots with timers and death glares!

  4. wow your bowels are trained to perform on olfactory command. that's a neat trick.

unless that wasn't the movement to which you were referring.

    in which case.

    never mind.

    * This is not worksafe.

I guess not. There always seems to be an opening.

  6. Hahaha, that was a cute video.
I'm not normally one for facial creams, but I'm quite happy that Lush has brought back it's tangerine shaving cream.

I can think of one type of cheese that I'm sure you don't like. Unless you're in to that sort of thing.

  9. Never heard of anti-dullness cream. Great video by the way...

  10. Finally, there is someone (like me) who admits to need 60 minutes before being pleasant in the morning.

Some people don't understand that I'm still asleep when I'm awake.

The morning routine is such a private moment. Pay no attention to the man behind the pore shrinking mask. I can't believe he let you [first] film and [second] post it to your blog. I'd watch your back if I were you. I'm just saying.

  12. Interesting. There is not a single cheese that I like. I even get pizza cheese free.

  13. My all time favorite meal is cheese fondue. A big bowl of melted cheese, fresh bread, salad, and wine. Followed of course by chocolate ... and more wine. Mmmmm. Perfection!

    ink.

P.S. Serge seems like a real sweetie, but I'm thinking Knottyboy's right about payback ... :)

Serge really likes you a lot to let you film him that way. Have you ever tried Limberger cheese? ewww! The photo not worksafe is totally disgusting. Coffee gets you moving in the morning, too!

  15. I'm a "cheesie", too.
And, not to sound too gay or anything, but I just adore it when you show Serge off to us.
    Sigh...

  16. I go through cycles where I think, “Gee, I should take better care of my poor, ragged skin.” Usually I am seduced by some ad that promises to fix my fine lines. I therefore buy some type of facial care “system,” but inevitably find it to be too much of a hassle within a few weeks and forget about it. It’s a vicious cycle.

Cheese and chocolate, on the other hand, make my life much more complete. They probably don't help the skin issue, though.
