Right you are Steven. A few years ago, I had a student named Camilla in one of my classes. She was a very serious student, very straight laced, raised by a wealthy family in Brazil. On the last day of class we had a party. She brought some Brazilian music and started dancing samba. Oh my God. What a transformation! Suddenly she was this sexpot all ass a jiggle. I asked her to teach me. She taught me the steps and I practiced. (Oh how the class roared as I tried to do it)I got the foot thing down (which I am doing in the video though you can't see) but I just can't get the hip wiggle. As Camilla said, "Is like your legs is stuck to your back."
It took over 20 minutes to download the video on my slow computer and with dial-up but it was worth it to see you moving to the beat. Now if you can do it again only with a light on and your spouse that would be great. An American and a French-Canadian dancing to the music of Brazil. So International. Everyone who watched this video wish they were there dancing with you. I bet everybody tried to dance along with you. I tried but it was not pretty, I hope no one was watching, but I felt better. Thanks.
This one reminded me of the White Guys Can Dance video that is out there, where they name all the dance moves. The point, point, squat and point. Hahah!
If spouse did not tackle you to the ground after watching this, in a fit of mad passion, and have his way with you, I could check to make sure he still has a pulse.
That was so much fun! I was tired by the end just watching you.
ReplyDeleteDance like no one is watching! You are very cute.
ReplyDeleteEither you feel a lot better,
ReplyDeleteor the meds are f**kin' great!?
Just remember, with Brazillian music, it's all about hip-movements and booty-poppin.

ReplyDeleteNice moves snake hips!
ReplyDeleteBig smile on my face right now.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite parts? The air guitar and how we can just barely hear you hum-singing along.
I need to put on some music now.

ReplyDeleteI have to admit you cut a mean rug! (Not to mention the fact that those hip moves are to die for!)
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought that I was the only one that was a graduate of the "I CAN Dance!" School!!
You know there is medication now that can stop you from doing that...
ReplyDeleteSeriously - very cute - I am not good at it. but I LOVE to dance - and there is noone down here that likes to dance...

ReplyDeleteA cricket?!?!??!?!?! Sorry but I have to disagree with Serge.
ReplyDeleteIf I could dance half as well, I'd be happy.
You are so brave with those videos!!
ReplyDeleteThis one reminded me of the White Guys Can Dance video that is out there, where they name all the dance moves. The point, point, squat and point. Hahah!
A cricket? Watching you... well, I wanted you jump you, you sexy thing!
ReplyDeleteOf course, I've never watched crickets dance. Maybe I'd find them sexy... Geez, I hope not! ;)
To echo what has been said already, I wish I could dance that well (or anywhere near as well)!
What's the music you were dancing to? Just in case we want to dance like crickets too. :)
ReplyDeleteI was really digging the air guitar solo
ReplyDeleteWell ya dance a hell of a lot better than I do....and u like u r having fun!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeletecricket? nah! Grasshopper maybe, but definately NOT a cricket. :)
ReplyDeleteNo matter, I was sitting here in my chair, dancing right along with you, my cricket/grasshopper dancing moves echoing yours!
Lots of fun, and way cute!
so when do we get to see how you dance when you're out? or was that disclaimer simply a clever cover?
ReplyDeleteis there a covered-up painting in the corner?
just 'cause i'm nosy like that.
You have more balls then I will ever have.

"Dance like a cricket"???? Au contraire!!! You SHOULD dance like that when you're out.
ReplyDeleteI think you're FABULOUS! In fact, I just may have a cyber crush on you! Shhhh... don't tell your spouse, or mine. :-)
Not a cricket, just a drunk White dude. ::WINK::
