Went on another long bikeride yesterday and decided to try to make a video a la MTV. After all, the cell phone has VIDEO DJ technology. What this means is that you will spend a lot of time converting files to a format that the cell phone uses. Plus bad quality video and sound! Yay!
The video is a smattering of the places I traveled and a song from the CD I was listening to.
After the bikeride, I needed to assemble and add a soundtrack to the videos.
For this minute and twenty seconds, I frittered away THREE hours. I hope you're impressed. (yes, I was off yesterday)
PS: It's the last day that I have to get up at the ugly buttcrack of dawn. Woo hoo!
For xmas Serge needs to get you a real video camera! Sweetie please wear a helmet and protect your pretty head. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat chewed up sandwich were you sharing with us?
ReplyDeleteVery nice video. where is our favorite comedy team? Serge could have...oh I don't know...ate some of the sandwich out of your mouth. Now that's exciting video. I see you have really nice bike paths in Montreal. If only more cities could have a way to make bikes a safe alternative to autos.
ReplyDeleteGetting up early is for chumps.
ReplyDeleteNice video.
Phone in one hand, sandwich in the other, how were you steering the damn bike?
ReplyDeleteHelmet hair is unattractive but better than a cracked noggin! Glad to see you are expanding your range of video skills!
I was wondering the same thing, Rox.
ReplyDeleteYou look so relaxed and happy!
Thanks for your (3 hour) efforts.
Jane
I wasn't on the bike when I ate the sandwich, (which was PBJ)I was in the Nature park where I took a walk and saw a Cardinal, my first here.
ReplyDeleteThe video was worth the 3 hours to make !
ReplyDeleteI just viewed one of your others where you are by a bush, have to have sound off where I am so they're like silent movies :>)
I am trying to figure out HOW you were holding the phone AND the sandwich and still riding a bike...Hmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteI want bike paths like that here in Dallas. Great video.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that sandwich! I think my cell phone does all this stuff too but I'd never have the patience to figure any of it out. I still don't know how to send a photo off it to my email and probably never will.
ReplyDeleteI think you already said you were walking when you were eating the sandwich, but I did start to get worried when I saw it in the video originally. And I just don't think our human bodies are designed to get up that early in the morning (just like we're probably not designed to be eating much other than meat, fruit and nuts). I seem to remember some study where they kept teenagers from knowing what time it was and they naturally went to bed around 2am and woke up around 9am. Sounds great to me. Something about the jumping in the video always made me afraid that any second could have been your last. True Suspense.
ReplyDeleteI want you to know that you are one of the main reasons I'm getting dsl, so I can be a more efficient peeping tom.
ReplyDeletebuttcrack of dawn! (salacious laughter here)hehe, hehehehe!
i'm with the others who hope you'll protect that smart and handsome head of yours.
ReplyDeletei love that you are stubborn/committed enough to stick with such a project for so long.
I love your videos :) btw..I'm jealous you get to sleep in you lucky dog.
ReplyDeleteGood video! My ass would have been cracked all over the place on the ground trying to do those two things at once!
ReplyDeleteYou have bike paths!!! How awesome is that?!! Here, we share the road with cars... well, not really share. We engage a little game of bumping each other, see who gets pushed off the road with only room enough for one. Guess who usually wins!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking us along with you! Very enjoyable... even if you didn't offer any of your sandwich to us!
Can I have the name of the song?
