Quick check in

No real reason (do we have to have one for Georgie porn?) for posting this other than I like his look in this photo. I always marvel at how different dogs look in photos than when you look at them. Well this photo represents how I see him in real life. It's his serious call me George look.

I also have no point for this post other than it's been a few days and as you know I'm trying not to let it die. Of course everything has an ending, so eventually this will too. I'm in my fourth intensive group this week and they are doing just great. I'm so proud of how much progress they have made. It makes my job very gratifying.

We were talking about remedies today (they're all nurses) and one of them told me how to decongest the nasal cavity without taking any pills or squirting anything up the nose. She claims quite firmly that rubbing vicks all over your feet will do the trick. She works the info-health line up here (811) and has had numerous skeptics call back to thank her for this trick that works. I remain skeptical but I will try it next time.

We're over half way to the weekend and you're already done with this post! Peace.

I can't wait to read your report on that method.

Second time in a week I have read about that remedy. Must get Vicks. Georgie is adorable as always. And if you end this blog I will stalk you...cerally I will stalk you.

Please, call me George, sir.

Did you watch The Westminster?

Vicks eh?

I know tons of people who smear Vicks on their feet then put socks on and go to bed and they all swear that it works! I've yet to try it. I hate Vicks and I hate socks so I can't see me doing it.

I have to try that Vicks trick. Also, that is a prize-winning photo.

Vicks eh? Will definitely try it out next time.....it must connect to meridian point on the feet?! like reflexology?!

I am skeptical about Vick's. But, at the least, it might freshen your shoes.

Yeah, I'm with Jim. Georgie porn keeps us happy. I chuckled the moment I saw that picture.

My own doctor suggested Vicks when we discussed onychomycosis. sorry, I can't use the common name - UGH!) Supposedly it's much less expensive than prescription meds like Lamisil. And know what? It worked! BobVT

Looks more like his "I am serious, you silly human!" look. And don't call him Shirley, either.

Remember to test the Vicks-on-the-feet theory when both you and Serge have head colds, so he can be the control group.

How can that work? Just how the hell can that work?

Vicks on the feet...interesting. Must be some acupuncture-like connection.

We do this for the children when they have colds and it does work, mind you they get it rubbed on the chest and upper back as well.

Georgie is too sweet. I love all the snow pics and video.

All over your feet? Your feet?? Is there some kind of kinky fetish involved? Maybe if you're a foot fetishist and rub it all over your partner's feet?

Maybe it's just that a large quantity of Vicks anywhere in the vicinity will put out the fumes needed to do the trick! :)

If Rox can rub laxative on her cat's feet, I suppose I can rub Vicks on my own feet. I haven't breathed clearly in almost a week after catching the flu so I just might try this tonight. I'll let ya know.
