Nuttin much

Serge fell asleep for a spell last evening but Georgie was having none of that. After all it was getting close to his late walk, and there will be no missing that if he has anything to say about it. He eventually roused Serge and we went out for our regular stroll. He would have gotten mad if I had woken him, but he's much nicer when Georgie does it.

It's the last day of my first week long intensive. I'm pooped already! I have four more of these to do and yet the calls keep coming in, can I do another evening course, oh and can you do a Saturday course for us? I hate turning down work but I'm at the point that I must say no or I'll end up falling apart. So the answer until November is a big fat NO.

I suspect the blog will be rather light for the next month seeing as how I'm up to my neck in work. Unless the universe provides fodder (not that I'm asking.) I don't even have any funny tidbits for today. The most exciting thing I can think of is that I've lost ten pounds already. Last night I measured the jigger and realized that my alcoholic beverages were 30% less that I was calculating for the diet, which explains why it didn't take as long as I thought to lose the weight. Only five to go, yippee! Today I get to go to lunch for Chinese food and I've been looking forward to it all week. What a treat that will be. Maybe I'll actually feel full for the first time this month.

The sunrises have been lovely lately. I'm up at pitch black now so I get to see them every morning. Hope everyone has a nice weekend. TGIF!

I sometimes feel sort of guilty about having Mason living in a condo. He LOVES to get outside and enjoys his sniffing and play time so much. I need to do it more! Loving that picture of the sky. Sky pics are some of my most favorites.

Sorry to hear about the work load...

I'm the same way about being awakened from a nap. If Indi does it, it's cute. Someone else and I'm apt to growl.

Enjoy lunch today and I hope it is indeed filling. But just remember that feeling will only last for a couple hours and then you'll be hungry again ;)

In a way it's heart-warming they only want to be teached by you. Stick to the times you're available, you've a personal live too, Georgie and Serge will love you for that.

I'm jealous of your weight loss. Not jealous enough to get off my own ass and lose weight, but jealous nonetheless.

I am the worst when the animals wake me. Especially when they walk right by awake people to get to me.

Turning down work? Not an experience many people have these days. Good for you.

Still loving the Georgie pics.

The wieght loss is good news, as is the idea that you can readily get more work if you want or need it!

What is Georgie's method of waking Sleeping Beauty? Have you tried copying it when you need to wake up Serge?

Congrats on the weight loss!

Turning down work is never easy to do, but in your current situation, it's the right thing to do. Your teaching would suffer from taking on too much. I've had too much on my plate lately and at one moment this week it really showed. Unfortunately, it was with one of my clients. I don't ever want to repeat that.

Lovely sunrise indeed. If you ever need to wake Serge, just toss Georgie onto his lap. That way he'll think Georgie woke him and not you. :)

Our dogs get away with a lot, but it depends upon the hour when it comes to whether they get away with waking us up. When they decide that 4am or 5am is quite late enough for us to sleep, then they may get some grief. Of course, if they keep at it, we assume someone isn't well, so we get up anyhow.

Congrats on the weight loss! That's great!
