It's been a while since I've done this. Four of the statements below are true and one is not. Can you guess which?
1. A great dane once tore the scalp from my head.
2. I received a car on my 16th birthday.
3. I have participated in a Lemans course.
4. I was conceived at a drive-in movie.
5. I eat peanuts with the shell on.
Answers coming up tomorrow.

O man! I have a love/hate relationship with these. I suck at them, but I love reading them.
I'm going with #1, because I see no apparent scars. (I realize that such is flimsy evidence for a guy from SoCal.)
I had a coworker in the late 80's that ate peanuts shell and all, so I'm not surprised at that one as a possibility. My co-worker could be heard crunching all day long in his cube.
Lemans course? Is that the breathing method for pregnant women? I didn't think it was called that exactly?
Anyway...Hmmm...I'm going with #2 as the lie. I say that because, EVERY 16 year old in SoCal has a car, so since that one seems so probable, I'm gonna guess it's the lie.
HUGS.....
#5

I always get these wrong too. But I'll say you only participated at Lemans in your dreams. My head hit the windshield of my car during a collision and rolled my scalp back so I know that is easy to do. In California a car is a must. Drive-ins were very popular a few years ago. I never new anyone who ate the peanuts shell and all but I guess it would be good fiber. LOL.
I'll go with Number 5. (Can't imagine doing that!)
I am going to say the peanut one.
When you say "shell" do you mean the outer "hourglass" shell that contains two peanuts, or the red-brown wrapper shell covering each nut?
If the former, then #5 is the lie, otherwise #2, since you would know that "Le Mans" (as in the racing course) is two words, not one.
I'm going to gyess that you were NOT conceived at a drive in movie. I imagine you were conceived on the shores some faraway land, in a villa. I don't know, I suck at these.
Let me Jessica Fletcher this mystery.
I think it is between 2 and 5. The latter seems quirky enough to be true, while the former seems so mundanely believable that it could be a ruse.
Therefore I say 2 is the lie.
Like the other commentators, I am usually wrong too. Given the So.Cal location, I am going to guess that 2 is true. One seems plausible. Given your stand-up-guy sort of nature, I can imagine 3 being true. You had to be conceived somewhere, though a drive-in seems unlikely. Still, it is within the frame of the imaginable.
So, I am going to guess that 5 is not true. If it is, though, I suppose that would be a good source of fiber.
I'm going with 3. I wonder where I was conceived. I can't imagine my parents having sex, but I got three siblings so the math is there.
what's a Lemans course?
i vote #2.
Weighing in at #2. Devo
You totally don't eat peanuts with the shell on.
I was conceived in Greece! How romantic.
No 1 -ouchness!!!
oh boy. may i lovingly say that i am as bad at this as you are?!
i'm guessing you didn't get a car at 16. and if you did, well then congrats. seriously. i'm not bitter or jealous at all.
