* Vitamin C seemed to help me kick it. I took many times the recommeded portion. The only residue is a rattle in my lungs and periodic expectoration.
* Across the street, there was a Harveys (Like Burger King). We ate there once and it was just horrible. I threw away my half-eaten hamburger and did not return. Then they went out of business and auctioned off the equipment. The place was gutted, and I was oh so hoping for a Starbucks et al, but no, it's going to be a pet supply store.
* I've decided I want a mini-daschund as the next dog. But we have to wait at least a year after Sara croaks as per spouse's edict.
* Pandora was shut down in Canada. (This really, really sucks.)
* Here's a face that made me laugh out loud. It's mine of course.
* I was thinking about how the substances that are abundant on Earth are necessities for us. Sunlight, water, various minerals, salt. And that those things that are quite rare are poisonous. Then I thought I was probably wrong, I really don't know nearly enough to make an assessment.
* This last picture I recall quite well. I was 11 for Easter 1977, and the neighbor's great dane had attacked my scalp when I hugged him. This necessitated a hospital visit and a week of slowly diminishing pain. I had to wear this for a week - not a happy Ricky.

Although I love Starbucks, you are so lucky they didn't open across the street...my whole life savings has gone to those damn Venti Caramel Macchiatos.
Photoshop the 1977 pic. Write FUBU on your bandage and appear WAY ahead of your time!
You were such a cutie patootie at age 11. Let's see 1977, I had already graduated from High School. My brother would graduate next year. He was/is the apple of our fathers eye. I was the worm in the apple. LOL.
Turn one of your apartments into a pet breeding facility, or a pet boarding house. That'll make the pet store very useful.
I'm not sure how they shut down an entire website based on your location. I suppose your connection point to the internet can disallow certain websites, but that seems a lot like censorship, which I thought Canada was pretty lenient about.
Um, to what event was that face a reaction? Kinda reminds me of the blow-up doll from "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert."
Well, Sara should enjoy the new pet store anyway.
And I laughed at both photos...sorry about that, but I did.
HUG....
I love it when you just put yourself out there. Really!
A Weiner dog? Those freak me out. I was bit by one when I was a kid. On the arm. Granted, it didn't tear my arm off, but it still reminds me that I don't care for the Weiners. Won't one of those freeze to death there? Get a hairier one! Like a schnoodle!! Ask Devo about them!
I seriously thought about getting the same kind of dog. They are so adorable.
Are you sure you don't want to get a great dane as your next dog?
Joli casque pour la baignade !!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH !!!!
Is the desire for a mini-daschund based on aesthetics? Or do you just want to make sure that you get a dog that could not be further from the jaw capacity of a great dane?
Perhaps Marmaduke was simply hunting for the Easter Bunny. Um, in your scalp.
i sure hope all the moms aren't right and that your face doesn't freeze that way.
Oh, don't hate the weiner! We have two minis and they are the best...extremely smart, loyal, and very silly.
The first time I visited Canada, years ago, a friend said to me that I had to try Harveys and Tim Hortons. I loved Tims -- still do, but Harveys burgers were about the nastiest things I have ever tried to eat.
Awww, Widdu Wicky feews bad. The second pic is pretty sad, too.
You mean the Coffee Mafia hasn't discovered your neighborhood yet?
I make the best espresso I've ever had. You should try it.
I've owned two mini-daschies - still have one of the two. First one - short haired dwarf - we bought when we lived in Egypt - she hated the cold here in Canada, she was like every Egytian woman I ever knew - spoiled, arrogant, demanding and shook her jewellry when she was upset. We bought the long-haired when we lived in Chicago. He hates the heat but loves the snow and cold. They both lived in Chicago, Montreal, Ottawa, Warsaw and now Reesie is heading to Rome. Given that he's now 14 we figure this will be the last trip but his sister lived to be 16 so ....
All that to say get a daschie... better yet get two... they're the greatest..
I had a part Dachsund when growing up her name was Tammy. She is the only dog I ever saw that could both frown and smile. She was an excellent judge of character. Some people would face her wrath and others would only see her smile.
Good God, man--cut down on the V C!
Glad you are feeling better--that is one flattering picture!
I love that shot in the bed with the thingy on your head.....very sassy, pouting, sexy lips......happy weekend to you guys! Thanks for the comment today.
What terrific pics! And I have one bitch of a cold too. I'm doing zinc and vitamin C.
the recovery pic says it all!!!!
re: Pandora... damned CRTC! They're like the fun police.
Hey! I have that same hat!
oh my god, that pic of you from 77 is soo damn cute. and that pouty face!
hahaha laugh out loud, yes! And yeah, Harvey's is gross :P
You still look like your 1977 pic, even though it was taken just a couple of years ago.
For some reason that first pic of you makes me think of Mr. Bean. And even with the Gloria Swanson headwrap, you were cute.
My lord you look pissed to have that thing on your head. It looks like a yamika gone terribly wrong.
Mini dachshunds are awesome! (I'm partial with having 2). If you need any advice...drop me a line: design.girl13@gmail.com
