The last New York post

We stayed at the Hudson Hotel in New York. You may have seen the bar while watching Sex and the City, as they filmed in there a few times. The rooms are very small, but have a lot of nice touches. There is one problem with the bathroom however, and, well, just watch:

Judging from my experience having family and friends stay in NYC hotels, that room was rather generously sized. ;-)

Hope you enjoyed your stay.

If you have to ride the toilet sidesaddle, it's a pretty small room.

So, you have a problem with switches/knobs, and your legs are too long.

I knew there was something strange about you. ;)

The video is so funny and well told. It was like a show. Hinting there is something wrong in the bathroom then slowly showing off the room. Then last but not least. The stool is too close to the wall for a guy your size. Hilarious! I watched it over and over.

Oh god.

When your head hit the wall, I couldn't stop laughing.

I'm still laughing.

One thing that I've learned, Torn, is that us tall people and our long legs are not made for the real world. I think, that bathroom was made with the idea that most "average" people are around 5'5".

But I laughed when your head hit the wall.

I would have totally have been you pulling, pressing and squeezing that lamp all over and not succeeding in turning it off!

That bathroom is tiny! You're tall but very lean. Imagine a tall, portly person trying to wedge into that space? I'm still laughing at the sight of your head against the wall.

I wonder how many people have loudly cursed at that wall in the bathroom.

Good lord, that place looks like a cruise cabin.

And thank you so much for the visual demonstration, that was helpful. These aren't the kinds of things you see on the normal travel shows.

Thanks for the walkthrough. That was too funny. BTW< I am back at the old home publicly again.

that was way too funny, especially your knees hitting the wall. the bathroom in my house isn't much bigger then that one though.

Being tall sucks sometime! LOL! What a hoot!

Your room was pretty organized (if compact).

At least you weren't in something that looked the walls were padded (like mine).
