Picky-poos

Blogger changed how the photos upload so they aren't in the order I wanted and I'm too lazy to fix it. We went down to the old city and old port to see our friend's booth at the, we dubbed it "the festival of sacks of garbage", recycling show. This is in the old city and we discussed whether those were Halloween decorations or Xmas decorations or both.

Here we are in front of the Science Center where the event was held. All I think when I look at this picture is teeth whitening.

The last burps of fall colors. What a fantastic season it has been for the colors. It's lasted nearly a month.

Dan mentioned that my neck is aging. Thanks Dan! Here you can see why he said that. In the background is our friend the artist with her art pieces created from waste.

It was a picture postcard day. Such a gift!

We stopped at a little cafe and had a snack. I had a warm almond croissant - heaven. This is a friend who came with. I loved the mural in the cafe and took this interesting (if I do say so myself) shot.

I thought the macabre display of skeletons in cages was scary.

The boys. I felt like I was a bit of a snow white. I'm a foot taller than them.

Seldom do I see a picture of 3 people on someone else's blog and recognize all of them. Which 3 dwarfs did you go with, I'm not sure any of them would appreciate being dopey or grumpy. Tell them all I said "Hi".

You look better than a rock star, and you're worried about your neck? Your brain is aging. I want to hear you sing with your dwarves.

Word verfication: turita. It's a Mexican dessert.

The poo picks were right up our alley. You went with Hobbits and felt very tall and superior. I would have sung we welcome you to Munchkin land. Word verification: athead hmmm ed

Rather be snow white than grumpy, eh?

You and hubby look great in that shot...I didn't think teeth whitening, I just thought 'so damn cute'.

Why is the world so obsessed with teeth whitening? I generally think people who have had their teeth whitened look unnatural and even a bit scary

I love old town Montreal. Thanks for the pics. They brought back a lot of very nice memories for me.

I wish that the only sign of my aging was my neck. Stupid, terrible genes.

Great photos of Fall to share with us! Glad you had a nice weekend. I love a nice long neck. Looks fine to me, BTW. In regards to the teeth whitening, perhaps you can give it a try. And now that you are smoke-free, they'll remain pearly-white. :-)

I noticed that with Blogger as well, it seems to reverse the order of the photos you want to upload. Very aggravating.

Dan's comment reminds me of the (I think) hilarious book by Nora Ephron, I Feel Bad About My Neck.

A perfect autumn afternoon. Glad you were able to enjoy it.

I love the pictures. You live is a lovely city. Keep posting your camera work, it's great.

Keep your teeth the way they are. I agree that the super white is far too odd looking. It's much more attractive to look human.

You take such awesome pics of your trips.

Your friend looks like he didn't like the mural. Or the snack.

What? Problems with blogger? Gasp!! I'm always thankful I left years ago. Okay, I'm with Franck on the teeth-whitening...unnatural and creepy looking. What's next, tanning beds for that icky orange glow? Your teeth look fine! As for your neck...when one is turning their head sideways in order to make sure the camera catches only their "best side", one will develop creases and folds in the skin. That is called NORMAL, not "aging".

Your neck doesn't look old to me, either.

I always love your pictures! Ugh, nothing much makes an aging neck look good except maybe a turtleneck. I'm getting turkey neck. And the skeletons, oohhh, scary, creepy but kind of cool too.

Ok So your neck may look a little aged in the photo, but when you turn your head to that angle, the skin on your face is pulled tight and you look 10 years younger!!

Wow, Torn, only your neck is aging! You lucky man.

Love the caged skeletons. :)
