Feeling like 25 again

Serge sabotaged the weekend. He's so sneaky that way. See last weekend he downloaded the free trial of the game 10 Talismans. It's a stupid puzzle matching game but still addictive. We exhausted our free play time and I figured that was it. Then he goes and buys the game this weekend. I don't want to tell you how many hours we frittered away on the stupid game, let's just say it's a shame number of hours. I kept moaning about the dearth of productivity happening, and Serge said, "We're having fun together." I don't know how together we are when we're both gnashy toothed and riveted to our computer screen, but since we are in the same room, I guess he's right. I went all the way through and beat the game twice, while serge struggled to win until he finally did around 7pm on Sunday. He kept accusing me of cheating. I took it as a compliment.

I insisted we do our family christmas card photo this weekend (PUT THE GAME ON PAUSE SERGE), so we (I) set it up and took a couple dozen pics, hoping for a good/unique one. I think we succeeded. Here is one of the shots that will not be used, but it's kinda cute anyway. When we get to Christmas, I'll show the pic we did choose.

This photo is delightful; but it helps to have such a stunning subject matter to photograph. Lovely dog indeed...Serge and yourself aren't too bad either!

Is that Sara or Rudolph? What a cute doggie. I frittered my weekend away watching porn so I'm fretting over wasted time too. It was mostly wrestling stuff where one guy forces the other to give up and do what ever the winner wants him too.

We frittered too...we were sick, we both have colds. Woke up last night at 3 am coughing :-(

Here's to frittering!

Sara looks so cute, you guys too!

We all need a dearth of productivity every once in a while.

Cute picture, Serge is right, you were spending time together no matter what you were doing.

I LOVE Sara!!! You KNOW she hates the antlers, but she knows she has to tolerate them for you guys. But photos? No way. She's making sure the antlers get all in way!!!

You GO Sara!!!

HUGS.....

i can't be trusted with fun, new video games. i become a hermit for days and weeks on end until i master it and by that time i'm so addicted i can't form complete sentences and i lose all feeling in my thumbs.

tetris alone caused me to lose much of the early 90s.

much love to sara!

It sounds like a great way to spend the weekend to me.

Serge and I are on the same wavelength. I was suddenly and irresistibly drawn to a silly Yahoo game in which you make and sell chocolate. Stay away from "Chocolatier"! You'll never escape!

The consensus is that frittering is okay! I agree. Though when I fritter myself I do get that terrible feeling.

Great pic. And yesterday's post made me laugh.

Nothing beats fun, and you guys had fun this weekend.

Where on earth would Serge be without you to keep him socialized. Of course, there's sara, but it's too much of a job for any one dog.

You guys are festive already. Man.

I love the shot, except we can't see all of handsome Serge. You look great as does puppy. (puppy doesn't even look pissed off with the costume.)

I've been playing this other computer game and it's addictive too, so I understand.

DAMN this internet, the computer, and all of the other technology that keeps us from DRESSING UP OUR DOGS and making them look like they're having a really, really, really good time.

I can see the blood-shot eyes from you guys spending too much time in front of the computer! ;-)

A cute picture with all three of you looking at the camera. Pets can be hard to manage when trying to get a picture taken; particularly after they've magically grown some antlers. ;-)

way too cute a pic........where on earth did you find antlers for the pup....must get them for my boomer.....seems about same size dog as your baby...........

LOVE this photo, though yes, would like to see Serge's face (I'm assuming that will be a priority for the official photo). I have to say I'm in the "Sara seems to like her antlers" camp, but maybe that's wishful thinking, because she really makes them work. Explain to her that fashion is suffering.

Looks like Sara is resigned to the fact that her daddies are weird.

Antlers? I mean, why not just dress her up in people clothes?

Still, a cute phot, but I can see why you won't use it: Serge's face is half cut off.

Makes him look shy or sneezing out on big, ugly antler

adorable shot..love the antlers!

You three haven't aged a bit since last year! And wasting a weekend playing video games is okay every once in a while. Frankie says Relax.

Hmmm, Serge seems to have something on his nose.

You need to get on Facebook and start playing Scrabble ("Scrabulous") with people. Guaranteed addiction... side benefit: use of the brain.

It is a cute photo, but I can see why it didn't "win": Sarah's antlers are blocking Serge's face.

Nice to see others getting in the holiday spirit.
