I heart you guys

That was so charming yesterday in the comments. You know, when the anonymous commenter dumped his or her judgmental crap, I was initially incensed. In my mind I protested, "After all the sleepless nights he caused me, after all the money he cost us, you can say this?! At least you threw the Jesus line in there, because that got me thinking. Thinking that you are a presumptuous individual who seems to be able to "know" the will of some Guy as told by a story cobbled together by power hungry men long after His death. I'd see a shrink if I were you. I've half a mind to delete your skanky comment. Hmm. I wonder if anyone will comment you into your place."

And then you all came through. A bunch of comments displaying the same irritation for the anonymous commenter as I was feeling. I love you guys!!!

I'm up early today to rush off to the airport. No, I'm not going anywhere, I'm picking up our friend Bob who arrives on the red-eye from LA at 7am. Bob is in town to visit and enjoy the Diverscite festivities. We may also take a jaunt up to Quebec City. Certainly there will be copious drinking happening. Looks like a fun and laughter-filled few days coming up. Just in time too, I need some blog fodder.

I get a bit upset myself when I see people who presume to speak for the almighty. I see signs that declare, "God Hates Fags" held up by so called christians. I've even seen signs that read, "Matthew Shephard is burning in Hell." Ohh! I get sooo mad then I realize these morons are just trying to put others down so they will feel better about themselves, sad.

Love it! You get a car and the first thing you do is use it to help someone out. It sounds like it will be a great week.

Your readers love you, too! (Well, with the possible exception of Mr. Anon who is just plain wrong in so many ways). Of course these kinds of commenters are always anonymous!

Have fun with your friend and the Diverscite festival. I can't wait for the copious amounts of drinking fueled blog fodder.

U can dish it but u can't take it.

Looks like Anonymous has changed his name to Roger. Seems to me that if Roger wants to dish it he could have the balls to back it up with his own blog where he has his own opinions on the line. I know that's what Jesus would want.

As for Anon a.k.a. Roger a.k.a ebay, I don't remember you wishing that ND would just die (at least out loud). Rather, you simply didn't want his shit piled up in your garage anymore. After seven months, when would he pick it up? Were you supposed to keep it for all eternity? Was the garage to become a shrine in honor of ND?

Now, I am no biblical scholar, but it also seems to me that Jesus would council ND that clinging to material possessions isn't really the path to spiritual enlightenment anyway.

Congrats on the car! While you missed me in Boston, it's just a short ten hour drive on the 401 from Montréal to Midwestern Funky Town.

Looking forward to some pics from Diverscite. One year I'll have to make it down for that.

Roger, when was Torn "dishing it"? You'd better watch it, God'll get ya for that.

Have fun Torn and we love you too!

Well, it's a mutual admiration society around here. And rightly so.

(Except for Roger. Roger seems to have a chip on his anonymous shoulder. I never realized that the bible instilled so much bitterness in people.

How did anon get the new name of Roger?

Fuck him. Perhaps the only way he can feel good about himself is by leaving snarky comments on other people's blogs.

Now, just don't mix the copious drinking with driving your bee-yoo-tee-full new wheels!

Have fun pal.

That's what I don't like about many religious people - they are so quick to judge. Don't worry about it, tornwordo, they obviously conveniently forgot about "judge not or you shall be judged" when they posted that comment.

Anybody who brings Jesus into an argument automatically loses. I think the dude was right though, about the karma thing. It's just that it was nude dancer's karma to get his crap thrown away. "Do unto others, bitch." (that is a direct quote from the bible...)

And is it me or do you guys have an abnormal amount of "festivities" up there? Is it because it's so blasted cold there in the winter that you all have to party your asses off in the summer to make up for it?

Amen to that.
