Sicily

If there's no picture, that means it's still not working. The internet manager said he can't do anything, so there may be no more photos for a while. The best part of Taormina was the canoli we had. Made to order before our eyes. I don't know which I like better, gelato or canoli. They both rock. The cold war between the boys is waning. It amazes me how we humans hang on to our resentments. Usually it's Serge who says, "Get over it." Now it's my turn, I just keep repeating, "Let it go." Tomorrow we're at sea again, and then it's Barcelona. I'll likely skip tomorrow and post again once we're back on the ship after touring all the Gaudi spots in Barcelona. We booked the Gaudi tour since as I recall the lines SUCK at the Sagrada Familia and you get preferred entry on a tour. You only live once right?

"Let it go" seems like an appropriate mantra for a vacation.

The picture has appeared and provides a nice panoramic shot...of the woman taking photos. ;-) Hopefully both Bill and Serge will still be on board after returning out to sea. I love Gayprof's comment.

I like your Italia t-shirt. Em got a black hoodie when she was there and she loves to wear it.

I miss you. Come home soon! Well, soon as you are done having fun!

Beautiful picture! Glad the boys are winding down. I makes it hard to enjoy anything when one is still feeling negative.

What a beautiful day you had as well. Looking forward to the Barcelona entry.

Thank you for posting a picture with sunshine. Seems as if we haven't seen that in YVR for weeks.

I'm sure you're having fun but remember the words of Dorothy Gale: "There's no place like home". You must try not to take sides but Serge is your spouse so it may be best to agree with him when Bob is not around. When you get back on the ship the boys may be at each others throat again. The Ego of some men is very large and can't be shushed without feeling put down. I hope Bob has learned his lesson. Ed

When you stay silent, you can't be heard. The boys need to talk it out to feel they've been heard and acknowledged. Are you willing to referee? Maybe when they've cooled off a little more.

Weather looks glorious there! Thank you for taking us along.

Great shot. I like the shirt.

Have you seen Sophia Petrillo?

I have gone on two vacations with friends and when we returned, we were no longer friends. I stick to the husband and kids now or else only people I know I can stand for long periods.

Referee-ing is one thing, and sometimes that's necessary, but you're going off on your own for a bit of the R n R you went away for in the first place sounds fine, too.

Beautiful photo from Sicily (I thought you were going to make a Sophia joke about having to "picture it")...looks like you've been having some stellar weather! So've we, it's just hot...

Star Search Update: Kate Hudson just reported on the "View" that her Mom Goldie Hawn and Dad Kurt Russell are traveling around the Mediteranean. Maybe Torn and Serge and Bob will run into them. Ed

I've only walked around the Sagrada Familia. I can't wait to hear what it's like on the inside.
