Not snippets

I think we all enjoyed Kathy Griffin. The show was being filmed for TV and they wanted her to have five f-bomb free minutes. She couldn't do it. She is so vulgar and snatchy and she did an awesome Celine parody. However, she was just the host of the show and the other comics had me laughing so hard, I couldn't stop crying. My favorite joke was from Nick diPaolo: you know fifty-four percent of marriages fail, now, let's put this in perspective - imagine you're watching people cross the street and fifty-four percent of them don't make it. Are you gonna cross the street? As for me, the reason I got married, well, I was sitting around thinking, "my nuts are empty and my wallet is full, how can I reverse these two things."

Okay now I accidentally pushed the control key and some other key and the post published. That's a cool trick if I knew which buttons I pushed. There's not even a title, I thought it wouldn't let you publish without a title. Stupid blogger.

Anyway, we tripped around town all day yesterday, and I figure there'll be more of the same today. It's rather rainy today, so perhaps a museum is in order. Here's a nice shot I got downtown yesterday.

It's raining softly right now here, too ... and the earth smells wonderful and it's good to be home. I have a ton of blogs to catch up on, and a host of other things ... but right now, quiet mode feels very good.

Glad you enjoyed the comedy show!

I wish we'd get some rain here.

You've won an award! Check my blog.

A friend of mine uploaded a very similar picture to her flickr account the other day ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/lilcpics/2675061401/), but with no labels. Now, I know where she went :-) Thanks! *smooches*

What is about the church doors, Torn? That's certainly a lovely shot; love the way you've lined up the old against the new.

I have to tell you something in private lest I annoy your other readers, and I couldn't stand the flack.

Cool pic-- merging church and commerce, maybe.

Us? Get annoyed? Nevah!

The pic is stunning.

I have an almost uncontrollable urge to stir the pot. So I'll go now :)

LOVE that picture! I just decided I want to visit Montreal. I've been thinking about wanting to visit. This picture clinches it.

Hope you have a lovely day. Museum, I just learned, is the term applied to a temple to the muse (or muses). It never occurred to me before to relate those words. I feel educated now. :)

That is a marvelous picture! I love the composition. So much I could ramble on about!

Thanks for sharing the joke, too!

I heart Kathy Griffin. I'm also totally curious about what RJ has to say to you in private. Yeah, that's right, I'm a nosy Nelly.

Mmmmm I do love that Church picture!

I love that picture, I want to know what RJ is on about, and I love knowing the muse thing.

Oh and I also want to know what Patricia wants to stir the pot about.

And of course, I'm charmed by any woman who can't avoid teh F-bomb for five minutes. Totally charmed. I never should have been a mother.

Funny joke and definitely a man oriented one.

That's a great picture of St. James with the skyscraper directly behind it.

I haven't been to a museum in ages. I love that stuff. I like the muse thing also.

Not St. James but Christ Church, the Anglican Cathedral. Lovely picture all the same.

Hey, it was nice to finally bump into you while walking about the city last night! You guys are as handsome a couple in person as on picture. :) Hope David enjoys the rest of his trip in our delightful Montreal. He certain has excellent tour guides.

The picture is magnificent! The old Gothic Cathedral with a modern skyscraper emanating from within the 500 year old edifice. Okay, 200 year old, would you believe 50 year old? I see a coffee table book in Torn's future: Church Doors and Poop Stories. I'm sure it will be a best seller. I'd buy it. ed

I like Nick DiPaolo. Funny dude. I also love me some Kathy Griffin. She's obnoxious, but funny enough to make it work.

Nice pic, TW.

Hello my friend. Just wanted to say hi and tell you a crazy troll imposter is afoot, posting as "I-girl". Hopefully when you see homophobic bigoted b/s, you will know it's not me!

Visting the mother country now for a wedding - can't wait to get back to civilization.

We saw Kathy Griffin earlier this year at a theater near here. It's an in-the-round theater, and there isn't a bad seat in the house.

She was terrific! We had heard some of her material before from all of her TV appearances, but we still laughed the night away!

I love when Kathy G does her Paris Hilton parody. I'm Hawt, You're Hawt, We're all Hawt.
