This and that

I don't want to switch to the "new" blogger. They (whoever is in charge of this apparatus) are getting more insistent that I switch. The only change is that I will have to sign in with my Google account. Ah. The proverbial fly. You see, I do not have a Google account. Oh I tried. On two different occasions even, and was denied. They did not feel inclined to inform me as to why nor to respond to my emails asking just that question. So I'm sticking with the old version as long as possible. Could it be that sticky crows' days are numbered?

We've got a car for the weekend. We're only using it to go shopping for stuff we can't afford. We picked up some blinds for the office window (there's a lovely stained yellow sheet covering it now) last night and spent $200. Spouse of course longed for custom blinds (the uber cool ones) and I had to steer him to the looks-just-like-real-wood kind. They're white, and they're going to be just fine.

They haven't bugged me yet.

I have the "looks like wood" also in the bathroom. It fits with the Cape Cod look I was going for.

And Sticky is not on it's last breath. At worst, you can start a news letter and send it to us by e-mail every morning. lol

Sticky Crosw days numbered? NOOOOOOoooooo!

Stained sheet? hmmm...

It sounds as you and Spouse have the proverbial problem (that most of us have): champagne taste and a beer pocketbook.

Enjoy the weekend! HUGS!

You spent 200 for a yellow stained sheet? OMG I wouldn't have paid more than 50 bucks for it. You didn't buy it by chance from the guy who sold me my Hugh Jackman sheet did ya? Happy home decorating hon.

For some readon...I check you blog daily and just now I am seeing updates. Must be something with my browsers.

Car and spending money go good together. Mine is dead in the driveway - won't start so now it's time to spend money.

I haven't switched over yet either. And the blinds? After Charlie dog chewed mine, I'm in the market as well.

You two are so cute. I won't ask about the stain. But you know I want to know.

As you probably know, it is shocking to most of us in the States to learn you don't have a car to drive to Wal-Mart and back every day.
I am thinking the stained sheet came from the previous resident. If it could only talk!
How about a video of Spouse putting the new blinds up?

I tried to switch to the "new" blogger and it rejected my blogs. WTF? So I feel your pain. According to their criteria my blogs should have transferred just fine.

I think the key is to create a google account then wait for awhile before you try to switch it. The same thing happened to me but I asked myself, "What Would Jesus Do?" and so I granted Blogger a bit of time and VOILA!

New Blogger is the same as old blogger...just more user-friendly I suppose, for the Noobs.

I love how the two of you balance your shopping styles. He drags you out the door, you prevent him from going overboard. Balance!

I too am getting prompts to switch over to Beta-Blogger and am afraid I will lose everything in the change over.

Now about this stained sheet...

I made the switch after much nagging last night.

Spouse gets nothing :(

I have not switched either. They don't seem to have a good handle on old blogger, so why would I think that the new is going to be super swift? Eh.

I'm working on switching off blogger. I have a website with aplus.net, and it has a blog module that I'm trying to configure.

We have several sets of looks-like-wood and went through a similar process to get them: get free quote for custom blinds, faint at the cost, get cheap lookalikes.

I switched to the new blogger and hate it.

Is a google account the same thing as Gmail? If so I have tons of invites to use and I could send you one.

i don't have google
i don't wanna switch
i don't like forced change
and i don't think the fake wood blinds will look anything but lovely. however, i respectfully request a photo after you hang them so that i may change my mind if necessary.

I was blocked from upgrading as well. At least I know I am not alone. I'm in no rush.

Nice tits, where do ya want the blinds?
