If you had to be stuck on a deserted island with one of the following, which would you choose and why?
1. A book store
2. A music store
3. A video store
You have a reading light, a music playing device, a tv and dvd player, and electricity.
My initial reaction is number 1, but 3 looks very enticing as well. Probably number 1 though because I read more in regular life than watch movies. Although I would miss 2, nature provides its own music.

Number 3. I'd like to think I'd choose number one but I'm totally number 3.
You chose wisely with #1 because modern libraries contain all 3 items, albeit on a limited basis. I would choose 1 as well [uh, nothing to do with the fact that I'm a librarian].
Oh, I'd go for #1, the book store. If it resembles anything like a Barnes & Nobel, I'd bet set for life. Books, sofas, coffee, and munchies. Throw in the sexy, rich, college guys-- all the better! Besides, books make for better kindling.
i'd choose the bookstore and then, because you said i'd have electricity, i'd fashion a coconut into a cell phone and a mango into a radio and i'd call for help. i'm thinking i'd barely be through robinson crusoe before the coast guard shows up.

#1 - I LOVE browsing in Chapters and prefer to read on vacation so a book store would go a long way to keeping me entertained.

I feel like number one would be my pick, but then I thought about porn and switched to three.
Oh wait a minute. My reply doesn't even make sense. I read library and not bookstore. Oh well, modern bookstores have it all anyhow.
I'd take a bookstore, although I would sure miss the music! Books are my life. I am a nerd.
